What does CORRIVAL mean?
In short, according to Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary, Corrival is a noun that means RIVAL or COMPETITOR.
We adopted this term as a bold, but intriguing way of communicating that this Sales Methodology and Sales Process is meant to rival all non-consultative approaches to Sales and Sales Management.
We firmly believe that while some competing philosophies in Sales have some merit, in order to teach someone to be a stronger fit to their addressable market, they must be willing to be bold and truly understand what problems their potential clients are interested in solving the most, not what we are selling them.
So, simply put, we believe we have a system of techniques that encourage its practitioners to be the largest rival to their market segment or industry.
Why be a CORRIVAL?
In our opinion, most Sales Methods that are taught currently have been created to teach mindless robots how to sell. The problem is that the same company who could not afford the robot to sell for them is now employing a human being and expecting them to act like the robot.
How is that accepted by Salespeople?
You can’t have your own talk track?
Your own style of presenting information isn’t allowed?
What if you sound disingenuous because you would never say that word or phrase?
These are all questions that are tamped down with the promise of future success should you just stay “on the path” that was laid out for you. In our experience, that “path” usually leads into BURNOUT and FAILURE.
The very idea that Sales is meant to be transactional is counter to everything we believe at Corrival LLC.
